We can supply you with everything you need to start your recycling plant operation as well as keep you running smoothly if you have an existing one. In the event of equipment failure or machine break-downs, we can be there on-site, or via phone and email, to get you up and running at 100%. We have all the parts and know- how to keep you profitable and stream lined.
Recycling plant equipment includes many types of machines, from recycling equipment added onto a large fixed asphalt production plant, to small mobile pieces of equipment for specific asphalting operations that use recycled aggregates, such as in situ foamed bitumen recycling of road planings.
A recycling operation can be created, which could include large permanent plants or semi-mobile (temporary recycling plants) pieces of equipment, such as large crushers and high capacity screens. These recycling plants are for large amounts of materials and production.
You can reduce the consumption of primary aggregates by switching to recycled or secondary aggregates. The ability for an aggregate processing business to make additional income and recycled aggregate already is already in place in construction, demolition and excavation wastes business instead of sending to a landfill.
You can also make better use of your secondary resources. In the near future these recycled aggregates could increase the proportion of aggregate demand, some say, up to 30%!
Recycled Aggregates :
These materials are derived from reprocessing materials previously used in construction. Examples include recycled concrete from construction and demolition waste material and railway ballast, recycled aggregate, recycled asphalt and recycled asphalt planings.
Secondary Aggregates :
These materials are by-products of other industrial processes not previously used in construction. Secondary Aggregates can be sub-divided into manufactured and natural, depending on their source. Examples of manufactured secondary aggregates are spent oil shale, steel slags and metallurgical slags. Natural secondary aggregates examples are china clay sand and slate aggregate.
The equipment used at large asphalt plants (which may also be producing asphalt from primary materials) tends to be focused on treating the feedstock to ensure it is acceptable for adding into the asphalt production. This could be equipment such as crushers and screens, suitably modified to accommodate an asphalt feedstock.
The process-specific small mobile pieces of equipment are normally focused on supporting a single operation, such as hot, cold or foamed bitumen recycling. This equipment is normally transported between sites on a low loader and could be mounted on tracks for movement around site. It could have components such as hoppers for receiving feedstock (asphalt planings and binders), mixing tanks and equipment for laying the product.
During the production of concrete and mortar "overproduction" can be a problem. If the overproduced material is processed quickly and efficiently, by washing the concrete in a revolving cylinder washer, then the concrete aggregate materials (sand and coarse aggregate) can be recovered.
Aggregate recycling can be undertaken in very large non-mobile operations. The pros of this style of recycling plant are that you can process lower quality aggregates in high enough volume amounts that it can make it profitable and worth your while, and the creation of products from challenging aggregates where technical skill and complex plants are needed.
The fixed plants have the full range of equipment associated with reprocessing operations, such as conveyors and feeders, crushers, screens and washing plant. In addition, they would normally have excellent transport links to support the movement of large volumes of feedstock and product.
If you have a large amounts of recycled aggregate, it can be profitable to sell the materials as an added method of income for your business as well a way to "green" your company. There are many customers seeking these materials for blended aggregate for concrete, or as part of concrete or asphalt. If this is done correctly your recycling plant can be a profitable part of your aggregate reprocessing operation.
Batching plants include equipment such as hoppers for storage of the feedstocks (aggregates and cements/binders), mixers for blending the feedstocks, or feeders for the loading of the concrete or asphalt onto vehicles for transportation off site.
SBM Machinery is the pioneer in the construction of mobile recycling plants with more than 1 decades of experience. Mineral materials such as masonry, removed steel reinforced concrete and broken out road materials made from asphalt or concrete are added processed using suitable process technology to form high-quality recycled construction materials and are then reused. This saves increasingly scarce construction material resources greatly.
SBM Machinery is a leading dealer of CRUSHING, SCREENING and RECYCLING EQUIPMENT to the commercial and industrial construction, demolition and recycling markets. Products include Jaw Crushers, Cone Crushers and Impact Crushers, Material Processing Screens, Trommel Screens, High Speed Grinders, Slow Speed Shredders, Compost Turning Equipment, Feeders, Rip Rap, Green Waste Sorting, Municipal Waste and Foundry Equipment. Services include new and used equipment sales, rentals, financing, service and repairs, and storage.
